upUttar pradesh had voting of 63.17 till now. BJP has never missed the Lucknow parliament seat always wins. From 1991 to 2004 Vajpayee was elected for 5 time. Rajnath being a sitting MP from Ghaziabad is compete run for ex UP Congress state president and sitting member of legislative assembly Rita Bahuguna Joshi.

Joshi represented the 2009 Lok Sabha polling missing to Lalji Tandon of BJP by a margin of thirty seven thousand votes. Few of the prime leaders in 2014 polling are State Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Abhishek Mishra and BSP government minister Nakul Dubey are also participating. Kanpur is represented by Union Coal Minister Sriprakash against the ex BJP national president Murli Manohar Joshi now left varanasi and moved to industrial city.

Union Minister of State for HR Jitin Prasada is challenging against the ex M.P. Dawood Ahmad of BSP in Dhaurahra seat. Early in 2009 congress has catched twenty two seats of which 6 is from this phase.
