ECI Bye Election 2014 Polling on 13th September and Vote Counting Results on 19th:

The Election Commission of India ECI had recently released an notification regarding the Bye Election for Assembly Constituencies and Parliamentary Constituencies in 2014.

For the states of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal the Bye election polling is to be conducted on 13th September 2014 and the results will be announced on 19th September 2014 after counting of votes.

The Election Commission of India had earlier asked the candidates to make the nominations till 27th August 2014, Wednesday and the scrutiny of nominations done on 28th August 2014, Thursday. The withdrawal of candidatures last date was specified as 30th August 2014, Saturday.

As per the schedule the voting conducted on 13th September 2014, Saturday at various polling booths allotted for the voters.

The counting of votes will be done on 16th September 2014, Tuesday and the final winning party candidates name list will be released by the Election Commission of India.
